These series are offered to support you in deepening your Yoga practice experience and to clarify our underlying methodology of practice. This involves experiencing how the fundamental actions in Asana revitalize our entire system and create the conditions for internal coherence and opening beyond our habitual patterns of contraction. 

We will meet twice per week for four consecutive weeks; Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am-10am, Pacific Time. Recordings will be available for missed sessions.

All practitioners with a minimum of one year of consistent yoga practice are welcome.

Pranayama (yogic breathing) Introductory Series

3-week class series in Morro Bay

Saturdays May 3, 10, & 17, 

 2:30-4:00pm 


In the practice of pranayama (yogic breathing) we create the conditions for deep relaxation, give conscious attention to our breathing, and learn to gently alter its patterning. In this training we learn to free up the natural storehouse of energy within each of us. It is a significant means to opening to more subtle practices and learning to cultivate a grounded and intuitive connection to source.

This practice-based class series will cover how to prepare for, set-up and begin the initial stages of pranayama as practiced in the Iyengar Tradition. Open to all levels ~ beginners welcome! Those already established in pranayama will have the opportunity to deepen their foundations in this remarkable practice.

Practice Fundamentals

3-week class series in Morro Bay

Sundays April 13, 20, & 27, 

 2:30-4:00pm 


Join me on Sunday afternoons to explore and apply the fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga in a progressive and enjoyable way. You will learn how the practice of yoga asana (yogic poses) and pranayama (yogic breathing) supports the body to become healthier and more energetic, all the while bringing about greater stability, calmness and clarity of mind. This 3-week series will build toward an in-depth understanding of alignment, balance, and energetic activation in the foundational poses and introduce the importance of the sequencing. Pranayama Sessions - Online 

Saturdays: May 24, June TBA

3:00pm-5pm Pacific Time


In these once-a-month classes I will be leading participants through a gentle practice of passive-restorative asana, and foundational pranayama techniques. Emphasis will be on deep relaxation and freeing the subtle breath. These sessions will include time for Q&A to address specific practice questions. Recordings will be available for missed sessions. 


All students with 2 years of regular asana practice are welcome. 

$75 for 3-classes / $30 Drop-In
